I was going to say that it won't be long before this tuens into an "atta-boy" or "why didnt I have teachers like that as a child" thread, but I see it only took 3 posts for someone to congratulate the kid on being sexually assaulted.
It was sexual assualt. Males are not excluded from the MeToo narrative. Kevin Spacey sexually assaulting young boys was a big talking point at the beginning of the movement.
I usually chime in with the "atta boy" comments IF the boy is over let's say 16. 13 is way too young for extra curricular teacher activities. We need to draw the line somewhere.
It is fascinating how there is a steady stream of decently good looking female teachers who are willing to risk their careers and marriages over this. Is this just an American thing or does it happen in other countries as well? I wonder how many female teachers are out there who do this and don't get caught?
There will probably be another very similar story before the school year is up. It doesn't matter if the teacher is married or not but they all follow a common theme:
1. The female teacher is at least decent looking, if not super hot. You never see old unattractive teachers nearing retirement in these cases.
2. The boy never tells authorities or his parents. It's either bragging to a friend, a parent or someone else discovering text messages, or some other slip up that occurs that gets them caught. Usually a text.
3. It's never a one and done type situation. The female teacher is heavily emotionally invested into the relationship.
4. The female teacher becomes almost brazen and very confident that she will never be caught. In this case there was sex acts happening on and off campus. Both are pretty ballsy. She really thinks they are going to get away with it and even have a possible lasting relationship.
5. Husband, parents, fellow teachers and the community are all very shocked when the teacher is finally exposed.
Because she's a female AND relatively good looking she'll get a slap on the wrist and she won't have to register as a sex offender.
