Human and drug traffickers will build tunnels. If the military is gonna spend that money on war weapons and mercenaries, we might as well spend it in fake construction jobs. At least no one will be dying in the process.
His stupid wall? It is congress' wall already approved back in 2006. The good walls have proven to prevent tunnels and human trafficking. So what's stupid about it? Eisenhower used the military budget to build the Interstate Highway System claiming it was for "national defense". The precedent has already been set.
Um no. The Interstate System was funded by $1.125 billion dollars in June 1956 and a second equal amount in August 1957 from the Commerce Department. After that, the Highway Trust Fund which collected the gas tax was used to fund interstate construction.
Eisenhower did change the name of the project to The National System of Interstate and Defense Highways for political motives - it would be easier to get buy in for "defense" during the cold war.
How is it a lie to have a plan to make Mexico pay for it but the plan just hasn't been initiated yet? Why do you and yours care anyway and keep harping about this when the wall is well needed and is known be effective in deterring illegal aliens and is cost effective. In fact we'd be saving tax dollars if we built it. What price do you want to put on our national security? I have never gotten a sensible answer from any of you guys.

He talking about doing it through the military because the army corp of engineers is under his command, he doesn't need permission to direct the army, he not taking money from the military but adding to it

All I can say is this: If Mr. Trump believes the Military will use their budget for building a wall, Mr. Trump is about to learn what President Eisenhower meant and warned concerning the "Military-Industrial Complex".
