Nope ABC will not get any praise from me until they cancel that train wreck of a show called The View. It's amazing how those ladies make comments along Rosannes pretty much daily and they get away with it.
Also - another thing Roseanne said in that tweet was suggesting Valerie Jarrett was Muslim. There has never been any indication she is Muslim, Roseanne is simply playing the card Trump loved to play by calling Obama a Muslim Kenyan. Trump supporters loved to call Michelle Obama an ape too so this is all very consistent.
she even grabbed her crotch during the singing of the national anthem! too bad there's no 'vomit' emoji...
At least get your facts straight.
It was after, not during, the anthem that she mimicked baseball players by spitting and the
crotch grabbing. (have you ever watched baseball?)
I thought her performance was cringe worthy,
but they didn't hire her for her singing voice.
I think there has been a loosening of the PC reins of late.
Trump flogs one bogus conspiracy theories after another. Half a dozen tweets this morning on his spy nonsense. Accused Obama of a felony. Insults people left and right. When he gets called on it, he takes a step back and claims he was misunderstood.
Roseanne was the top rated show of the season and had just been renewed for another season. Given that and the current climate of acceptance of "free speech," she probably thought she was good to go.
She'll land on her feet. She always does.
Let's be clear, making a politically correct (or incorrect, as it were) statement is entirely different than making a racist statement. One runs counter to general social norms, the other is vile and hateful.
same "lady" that purposely butchered the national anthem, then grabbed her crotch and spit upon finishing...and yet President Imbecile and his Trumplings love her, not surprising in the least.
