“American Journalism Is Collapsing Before Our Eyes,” I wrote that the so-called cream of the media crop was “engaged in a naked display of partisanship” designed to bury Trump and elect Hillary Clinton.

The collapse is complete now.

I don't know what's more sad. The shamelessly partisan propaganda that they constantly spew. Or the fact that leftists continue to trust them.

That is an excellent article.

He got it all... from the media profiting off of the Trump primary coverage, to the attempt at defeating him in any election - the past and future, to the press totally disregarding any principles from the past in allowing their opinion to affect their reporting.

Completely and wholly aided and abetted his candidacy by taking it more seriously than he did.

Journalism is dead for two reasons:

1. The business model that supported it is dead

2. News and entertainment have been merged

With the latter, it's easy to see how someone like Donald Trump could get elected.

Maybe their standards were lowered by the bottom of the barrel standards that have been exemplified by Donald Trump! #FakeLiarPresident!

Well if you had read the article you would know they protected Hillary by not reporting on her lost emails, Benghazi and a host of other things that would have been against her being elected.

I would add
#3. The "journalist" is trying to be just as big as the story they are reporting.

Most of them seem to be in it for the fame, money and they are hoping to use the reporting as a springboard to something bigger like a talk show of their own.
