"Concerned" Evangelicals plan to meet with Trump.

Will it be televised so we can all watch?

I did not vote for Trump because he was a righteous man. I voted for him to shake up and burn the establishment down; also, to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem and possibly advancing the building of the third Temple. Trump has more than met my expectations. God always has a man to use to get things done, whether they are perfect or not. God gave Samson great strength to fight and defeat His enemies, but Samson was not perfect.

Judges 1
24] And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and the LORD blessed him.

Judges 16
[1] Then went Samson to Gaza, and saw there an harlot, and went in unto her.

You've not understood the post you're responding to (nor what "incoherent" means, but that's less important).

"Anterospective", here, means that he is making a pledge to try to live a life free of the need to repent moving forward. It is true that he is unclear on his soteriology in early interviews, but in later discussions he clarifies that he has attended and repented in church. Clearly, there would be no reason for him to do so if he doesn't see any need to repent for past mistakes.

If there's any doubt what he means, there are further interviews where he lays it out more clearly:

"I will be asking for forgiveness, but hopefully I won’t have to be asking for much forgiveness."
HAHAHAHAHA!

I'm quite clear on incoherence and evangelicals apologizing for Trump is a prime example.

Tell me again how young people are just FLOCKING to the church these days.

Ya'll have shot yourselves in the foot but apparently haven't figured that out yet.

You'll figure it out soon ~ but it will be too late. The world has seen the evangelical movement has little to do with the teachings of Jesus Christ.

What will be discussed at this meeting?

How to save Trump's soul?

It was a choice between the ***** grabber, or Satan. They made the right call.

Srsly? Evangelicals did not have to nominate Trump as their nominee. They had what . . 15 other nominees to consider?

Own it.

Actually, the *****grabber is Satan in your example. The Evangelicals voted for the devil in droves. That's going to be a fun fact to square with the their God in the afterlife.

A good definition of incoherence would be laughing maniacally and babbling non sequiturs about church attendance in an unrelated topic about Christian redemption. It's not quite the same thing as hypocrisy like you think it is, though there is some similarity.

To be serious though, we'll see how he does. It's too early at this stage to tell how he'll develop over the course of the presidency.
