Seriously? Isn't this something that gets normal people arrested - or their permit revoked? Or at least a ticket?

Considering how Republican lawmakers have been assaulted by Loony Leftists, it sends a signal "Don't even think about it." However, I would have worn a holster and 'accidentally' exposed the gun when adjusting my clothing, for example.

No responsible adult would ever pull a loaded pistol out in a crowd of people for no other reason than trying to convince you how big his Makarov is. That's why we have legislators to do it.

Welcome to South Carolina.

No! He should not have pulled his gun out. South Carolina's concealed policy is that the gun is concealed from public view unless you have to use in an emergency. I understand what he was trying to do but he went about it in the wrong way. And yes your permit can be taken away by such actions.

Welcome to South Carolina, where the birds fly in circles because they only have right wings.

And it never fails... the ignorance is going to come out every time. ^^^^^

2016 presidential election results show 54% for Trump and 41% for Hillary. I would not say that was all right wing.

Don't indulge his idiocy. Due to changing demographics (northeasterners moving South) over the last several decades, much of the South is now very Moderate due to the influx of Liberal/Progressives.

Let us not overlook the introduction of a bill for secession:

So go already... if it's a matter of financing, I'm in for five bucks if they do a GoFundMe campaign. I've visited there many times and my impression was the only worthwhile things to come out of SC are Colbert, Hootie and the Blowfish, some sweet BMW's out of Spartanburg and City Data's own cuebald.
