It is absolutely true. We see more and more intelligent Republicans starting to see that something is not right here. The less intelligent, and those who will refuse to see the truth because it would mean they have to admit they were wrong, are still hanging in there.

Here we are, more than a year into this administration, and nothing of substance has been accomplished. The only thing that Trump has done is throw his cult a bone with that stupid tax cut that amounted to beans. We have to ask ourselves "Is America better off today than it was in January 2017 ?". The answer is a resounding NO. Anyone who says it is better is kidding themselves, and us.

The GOP has shown also how weak and afraid they are to stand up when they need to do so. Only a few Republicans have the courage to admit that things ain't exactly going the way they hoped.......the rest just hide and parrot the same old tired lines.

Radicalism should drive people more to the center, ideally.

That Tide pod generation is sure making strides in changing a lot of laws, aren't they ? Me thinks that the Right is a little afraid of all that these "kids" are going to accomplish, especially when they hit the voting booths !

Before you get too carried away with your new job of promoting yourself as a 21st century Nostradamus, someone should point out that the Republicans are not in 'total control' - it takes a 60% majority to do that.

Knowledgeable people have long expected the Democratic candidates to chase each other farther and farther left as they try to distance themselves from Trump.

The article cites the failed attempt to repeal ACA as demonstrative of how the 'public values Medicaid'. Nonsense. The attempt failed because Democratic legislators voted against it. And they, you will remember, represent the minority of voters, not the majority.

Just more Left Wing back-pounding.

Mmmm... how about the article I posted?

It is now, and it's a pretty good one even if I do say so myself. Not surprising that it would sail a mile over your head.

Except that unemployment was 4.8% then and 4.1% now.
There were 145,696,000 jobs then and 148,230,000 jobs now.
There were 45,000,000 people on food stamps then; 42,000,000 now.
You have more "crumbs" on your paycheck.
The Dow was at 20,000 then; 23,900 now.

Jeez! Did you pay a monkey to play on your keyboard, or do you actually believe what was written?

The economy is chugging along nicely and no one reports any of that stuff, they report dumb crap like what trump ate for breakfast or whatever. Silly.

I'm not a huge trump fan, but most people can't see past their trump derangement syndrome to recognize anything.

So-called "conservatives" have no power. People like McConnell, Ryan, and Graham control Congress. Trump is a leftist. Trump's Cabinet is full of neocons.

If conservatives had power the $1.3 trillion omnibus wouldn't have passed.
