It seems that the POTUS has a way of keeping future primary opponents from standing out.

Of late it looks like Pence and Hailey may have wanted to get staff aligned. They were going to both use a Republican, who works for her at the UN. This gentleman was given credit for her election in SC.

She has shown a strong resolve and Pence may be thinking he is looking to challenge Trump.

POTUS seems to throw them under the bus when people start paying more attention. He under cuts their statements and walks back things they try to do.

POTUS is worried about competition.

I would vote for Nikki. She knows more about business than Trump.

Boss is still struggling with the Trump Presidency.

No one seriously challenges a sitting President if they decide to run for reelection.

Poor Boss.

I could see her go out and primary Trump. A lot of women would go for her, she shows strength and honesty.

Both will be permanently stained by being in the Trump administration anyway.

me too. She isn't conservative at all, but all the Republicans will believe she is bc she took a Trump appointment. It's perfect.

I probably wouldn't vote for her, though it of course depends on the opponent(s).
