The U.S. has been an international laughing stock for decades--WAY before Trump was (s)elected.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The last President who was elected, not selected, was JFK, and we all know what happened to him.

Eisenhower warned us about who actually runs the country.

If only you didn't have a **** foreign policy view, we'd agree on a lot of things.

One quote from the article:

"In ordinary times, a declaration like the one Trump made about TPP would have sent stocks soaring, thrilled exporters and sent corporate strategists scrambling to assess the impact. "

"In ordinary times"

These times are not ordinary.

"a declaration like the one Trump made about TPP would have sent stocks soaring,"

"Would have"

But it did not. At one time, the president of the United States of America held extraordinary power. One comment aimed in the right direction could cause tremendous changes in the world market or politics. Trump has managed to do that on occasion but like the boy that cried wolf, his comments are more often than not falling on deaf ears. That power he might have had is waning daily simply because people, governments and nations just don't believe him any more.

If times are not "ordinary" and the power of the United States in declining, times are not extraordinary either.

That leaves a few antonyms for extraordinary:

bad
indifferent
inferior
unexceptional
unimportant
unremarkable
worthless

“He has a tendency to fire off in all directions," Ablin said. “It’s hard to ever know what’s real."

Is this an indication of loss of credibility? Not only for Trump but for the US?
That's exactly right. You never know what kind of a hand he's holding or what card he's going to play next. All you know is he intends for America to have the most chips when the games done.

Trump, and the US does not give a dam what the EU thinks of us, this is not a popularity contest

Trump is putting American interests first, unlike Obummer who had to pay off the EU to be our friend

Trump, as well as the rest of the world KNOWS that the EU has NO FUTURE, so why bother giving a dam what they think.

Sorry Swissy, The world still looks to AMERICA for all things culturally, militarily, and economically..
You bet, Alex Jones!

Europe and the rest of the world couldn't care less about YOUR opinion either. Rant on if it makes you feel better.

You two are not understanding; it does not matter who is president, it is the office that people listen to.

The office of the POTUS is a sham; that's my whole point.

The MIC and the bankers run the country and have for decades.

That's changing, but as you can see, the swamp doesn't want to be drained.
