The OP admits to listening to Rush Limbaugh every day. It sounds like one of Rush's "Feminazi" rants. No way she thought this crap up all on her own.

The United States is not so.

Even in the era of political correctness, remedies exist for most violations of individual rights.

This is especially true if those violated, or simply not catered to, are women.

You're missing the point. Our progress in this country shouldn't be measured based on other countries. Cultural norms and social mores aren't the same from one country to the next, so what they're doing has nothing to do with where we should be at this time.

But based on your implication that complaining about inequality is nothing more than women creating their own unhappiness, and your suggestion that fighting inequality is the desire to be catered to, you're not going to understand any of this because you just have issues with women.

I worked in Manufacturing for nearly 3 decades. You ask women who they dread for a boss and they say other women. They feel that the women who made it to supervisor level forgot their roots and put unrealistic expectations on the women under them. I have seen it to a point when I sit in on tests and women are the testers. They dont grill the men nearly as hard as the women, especially if the female being tested is attractive.

Other than piling on women, what does this have to do with the thread?

Or maybe U.S. employers should start following existing anti-discrimination laws.

What a concept ...

Is that really your argument? They "don't know how good they have it" therefore, what? They should shut up?

Are you a man or a woman btw?

Oh definitely a "male" but not a REAL MAN.

Sexual objectification of women—treating women as a mere object of sexual desire—is prevalent in Chinese job advertising,” the report notes. This includes height and weight specifications irrelevant to the job duties, to ensure that only shapely women will apply, and even requirements for “good skin tone,” “no incurable skin conditions,” and other conditions meant to ensure that female staff will be pleasing to the male eye.

Or maybe men in the USA who objectify women should move to China where they can have at it.

Yea, I bet you could match that exact program to the timing of this post, both likely occurred within hours of each other.

Is that like telling a paraplegic he's lucky not to be a quadriplegic?

Or someone who's had a female baby born with a terminal illness that he's lucky he doesn't live in China, or the baby would be killed immediately?

Is that like telling a U.S. man who's been injured & can't work anymore that he's lucky he doesn't live in India, or he'd have to beg on the streets for food?

Is that like telling someone who has been beaten to a pulp in a mugging in the U.S. that he's lucky he wasn't in Mexico, or his head would've been chopped off, too?

Comparing one bad thing with a worse one is pointless. It doesn't mean that the bad thing is acceptable. No matter what circumstance or condition, there is always something worse. And always something better.

When it is the behavior of humans, society should always work for better behavior. American society should work for the life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness by all. Our founding fathers made this the basis of our system of government.

If anything, men in our country should appreciate and respect women. After all, you wouldn’t even exist without us. In fact why do women need men. You need us more lol
