NK has made agreements in the past and not honored them. They simply cannot be trusted and Trump needs to be very careful he doesn't make the same mistakes Clinton did. It's going to be a very long time before you can give credit to anyone for this.
North Korea offers concessions on its nuclear and missile programs in exchange for fuel oil, food and other economic goodies then goes back on their word. Bribes aren't suppossed to work that way.
They bribe America to get what they want, then settle down. Granted if our enemy was on the Mexican border doing aggressive manuvers, I'd be upset too.
Bring the troops home and protect our borders like the Constitution says.
Full disclaimer before I begin. I did not vote for Trump. I cannot stand Trump. I think he is hands down, the least qualified and most unfit for office, POTUS we have ever had and hopefully ever will have. I hope on a daily basis that he is impeached, resigns or the 25th amendment is invoked. I can't stand the man. He's a narcissist on an ego trip and very little more.
With that said. I have to admit that I don't believe the historic progress we are seeing in North Korea would have happened under anyone else. Granted it's too early to tell if Kim is playing us or if he's serious but if this ends up being a historic breakthrough, I really think Trump deserves credit for it.
He took a hard line which no one else was willing to do and I don't believe any of the other candidates for POTUS on either side of the aisle would have taken had they won the election.
Now, he's no brilliant tactician and his knowledge of global affairs and their ramifications are criminally inept.
He may have also taken this stance for purely petty reasons.. to look strong in contrast to Obama who he loves to compare himself to.
Regardless, it seems that a strong resolve to use force if necessary and be willing to back it up is what was needed and that is what Trump provided. So I think he deserves credit for success or failure depending on how this goes.
You will be Red Pilled soon enough.
Even I voted for Bill Clinton, in 92.

Yeah, I watched Kim hug the SK president and wondered how SK can trust this guy. Out of nowhere he wants peace, for what? What is he getting out of this? And his people? Makes no sense. He's an oppressive dictator whose people live essentially shut off from the outside world. Peace with SK, which could eventually lead to reunification ideally, is not in his best interest unless he needs something or somehow plans on trying to take SK over.
I don't see how any sort of peace and cooperation can benefit the people of NK unless Kim plans to change how he rules.
It took this long for the little guy to kill off the remnants of the evil regimes of his dad and grandpa who wouldn't allow for entry into the broader world. He had a plan all along and all he needed was an American boogeyman to blame his capitulation on.

Could you possibly sound more wishy-washy?
Why can't you just give him credit and be done with it?
