I think that's his problem. Trump knows that he's isn't going to "get away with it" like he's used to doing his entire life. People like Trump who have lots of money are used to having lots of power. Trump can lie through his teeth and is used to getting away with it and not having to be held accountable or answer for what he said. And if lying doesn't work, then they just cut a check for every one to be quiet.
Trump had no idea, nor was he prepared for, just how much everything he said would be scrubbed and fact-checked. And now that Mueller, SDNY, and State of New York are getting closer, he's starting to freak out. I guess he thinks his constant attacks on Mueller, deflection, and lying on Twitter will somehow save him or his family.
Look at this gibberish. We are witnessing Donald Trump have a mental breakdown:
Trump sure has demonstrated the exact opposite behavior of an innocent man with nothing to hide. From what we already know of the man anyone with an ounce of impartial intelligence can see its very possible that Mueller has uncovered damaging evidence of some sort. That could be a cover up and obstruction regarding Russia, illegal use of campaign funds, any number of possibilities. To dismiss this as even possible is completely idiotic.
It's like believing Mexico would pay for a border wall...
Poor Donnie really does seem to be losing it. Here's a couple of choice quotes from yesterday's WaPo interview:
“I’m doing deals, and I’m not being accommodated by the Fed,” Trump said. “They’re making a mistake because I have a gut, and my gut tells me more sometimes than anybody else’s brain can ever tell me.”
“One of the problems that a lot of people like myself, we have very high levels of intelligence but we’re not necessarily such believers,” Trump said. “You look at our air and our water, and it’s right now at a record clean.”

exactly. How'd that work out for Trump? He assured his goofy base that America was going to build a "great, big, beautiful wall" that would cost BILLIONS but told us Mexico would pay for it.
Fast forward to reality, and Trump is now threatening to shutdown the government until dems agree to use US taxpayer dollars to pay for his wall.
Would any Trump supporter dare trying to spin that one???

Trump thinks he can ride this issue into the WH again. A bi-partisan agreement was reached during the first 6 months of his term giving him the whole funding. Trump rejected it, just to be able to keep his bigot ideas out in the open.
Seeing our leader become completely unhinged is so comforting.
