Just to think that the entire country has to suffer the indignities of Trump, all because of his childish propensity for retaliation.

There's no doubt he has an insatiable thirst to destroy President Obama's legacy, and he doesn't care about the harm he inflicts upon others to do it.

Repealing Obamacare and NOT replacing it, does nothing but harm most middle-class Americans...

Revoking the Iran deal potentially places the middle-east in great danger. It's already too volatile as it is already and that's not to mention Trump's asinine announcement to move the US embassy to Jerusalem.

Those dwindling tax breaks should evaporate just in time for the 2020 presidential election.

Therefore, that's just perfect timing!

And the Trump administration is just swimming in Alt-Right appointed staffers:

1) Stephen Miller- Senior Advisor to the president

Richard Spencer, the notorious white nationalist, mentored Stephen Miller and was his BFF while in college.

2) Steve Bannon - Chief WH strategist
Not only was Steve Bannon chief WH strategist, but he was also a top executive at Breitbart news, a racist Alt-Right media outlet.

3) Julia Hahn - Special Advisor to the president
Julia Hahn was also an employee of Breitbart news, working under the auspices of Steve Bannon.

4) Sebastian Gorka - Deputy

5) Michael Flynn - National Security Advisor

6) Paul Manafort - Campaign Director

7) Rick Gates - Assistant Campaign Director

8) Jeff Sessions - AG
Long time repentant racist who acts just as racist as ever before. Known to use racial slurs and speak particularly disparagingly of blacks.

Of course, Trump has already made multiple racist statements that would further incriminate him and telegraph his racist intentions.

Impeachment can come fast enough!

Here's something else: The most unifying characteristic for anything Trump-related, seems to be how much it angers liberals. Trump supporters would applaud literally anything if they thought it would anger liberals. This too will come back to haunt them when liberals do the same thing to Trump supporters. Every single thing that Trump supporters are doing, they can expect to be repeated in the other direction in the future, so they may as well buckle in for the ride. This will continue with both sides until this country mercifully splits. The two sides hate either too much for us to remain as a single country long term.
I agree. I don't think you can look at this country, on the current course that it is on, and say that it will stay together long-term. I don't even see war as being a potential unifier anymore. I don't think divorce is too far off.

As Harsanyi points out is true - what Obama "legacy" achievements Trump has dismantled or swept away, were exactly that OBAMA ACHIEVEMENTS, not US government achievements.

The Paris Accord was an Obama agreement, not a Senate ratified US agreement.

The Iran nuclear deal was an Obama deal, not a Senate ratified US deal (the entire point of the much castigated and shunned Cotton "open letter to Khameini").

Taking money from the general fund to shore up losses in the private insurer market was an Obama grift that violated the written language of the Affordable Care Act.

See a pattern?

Those things Obama did on his own are easily undone by the next President. Those things Obama did via the normal, proper process of law making that goes through the House and Senate...yeah, that's all still there. Those things Trump does without any involvement or oversight by Congress will also be as flimsy to the next POTUS as Obama's machinations are to Trump...and that's baked into the Constitution.

ObamaCare is still a set of laws, but the Executive Branch hijinks of getting around the inconveniences of adverse selection...well, those are gone because they were never part of the rules agreed to by the actual makers of law. What one executive order creates out of whole cloth, another executive order can undo exactly the same way. People like me have been saying since back when Reagan was President - it's all fun and games when your guy is the one running roughshod over Congress and the American people...but someday, that guy won't be your guy, and sh_1_t won't be so funny anymore, will it?

Like that nonsense with the CFPB "guidance" that Congress slapped down recently. Can't call it a rule when using it to enforce policy and then call it guidance when you need to protect it from oversight. If you want the CFP to have power over auto dealers offering discounts on loans, then have Congress write, debate, vote on and pass to the President a law that does that. But if you take the easy way out, the next guy can just as easily have it undone.

This is why rule number one of budget plans is this - if the plan takes longer than the current Congress has left in their session - it will never, ever happen. Why? Because no Congress is beholden to the promises made by previous Congresses, same as no President is beholden to the Executive Orders of any prior President. Trump undoes Obama, Obama undid Bush, Bush undid Clinton, ee aye ee aye ooh.

Wow, the major crying from liberals is astonishing. Vowing revenge. Got a few more years before that happens, if at all.

Because Republicans will stay in control of the country for ever and ever and ever? It will be a delight to watch Trumpism swept away and Trump regarded with the disdain he has earned. Trump is obsessed with Obama but Democrats will be happy to erase Trump.

And the Republican who comes after that purge from the Democrats will undo their undoing of Trump, and then a Democrat will come along and undo that undoing of that undoing, and so on and so on forever and ever.

One of the nice features of the US government is all this undoing of those things that fall outside the Constitutional process because Congress ad the President so often forget their limitations, checks and balances.

So I'll see your "yeah well, Trump will be undone" and I raise you "and whoever does that undoing shall too be undone"...and we can keep reraising back and forth forever!!

I don't think it will go on forever. I think the country will eventually split. The two halves hate each other too much. I think there will come a point when we will split by vote without a shot fired. Maybe blue states will join Canada, maybe red states will join Russia but the hate increases with every election and at some point, it will break.

If Obama had learned to compromise with Republicans and passed laws through Congress his legacy would still be standing. When you go outside the law, this is what happens. It also shows the inexperience of Obama of never having to work with people in the real world in the art of old fashioned compromise.

Obama's attitude was his way or no way. Well, it looks like it's turned out to be no way.

This all falls on Obama's lack of experience and failure to perform. Worst President in our lifetime.
