my guess is you are one of those people who think corps should be allowed to sell poison to kids , and the kids and their moms should be able to detect the poison before it harms their kids....

I see this lot, folks who cry and whine about the gov, but they tend to absolutely fine calling the fire department when their house is burning. Or filing a lawsuit when they stub a toe.

The same govt that has killed millions to maintain its empire is going to keep us safe through dietary edicts.

my guess is your to lazy to avail yourself of the many websites that research food safety. And we call the fire dept because it has taken our money and promised to help us when there is a fire. Since the guv in many areas has a monopoly on such services what do recommend as a plan B for such scenarios?
Oh and your beloved state looks the other way on many toxic substances for the right$$$, but by all means continue to rely on it for your personal safety.

A ridiculous statement considering the USDA has been owned by Monsanto for decades.

Periodical Article with no author titled “The World Doesn’t Need Trans Fats” on May 14, 2018 in The New York Times:
Most of the American food industry stopped using artificial trans fats, a leading cause of heart disease and death globally, well in advance of a federal ban that goes into effect next month, and few consumers noticed the change in their French fries or doughnuts. But these fats are still commonly used in the Middle East, India, Pakistan and elsewhere, which is why it is welcome news that the World Health Organization is calling on countries to phase them out by 2023.

Isn't it funny to see the same leftist who are in favor of legalizing drugs, arguing to ban trans-fat?
