Hopefully, they add harboring to the bill which is what sanctuary city elected officials do also.

The job that President Trump's ICE and Homeland Security Department are doing are difficult enough without liberals obstructing justice.

Steve King is from Iowa which has very few illegal immigrants. Most of the population in the state is elderly whites and the sparsely populated state is already experiencing a rapid decline in population. When a state like California which has a majority young Hispanics is not overtly concerned with illegal immigration and is basically able to accommodate multiples of the population of Iowa in just Hispanics, why is this old coot so worked up the few brown people wandering around?

Maybe because he isn't an idiot who thinks supporting illegal criminals is a good idea anywhere in the country. But who knows. Someone will ask him eventually and we'll find out.

The US "native" population is declining rapidly like Japan and if not for legal and illegal immigration, we would be in sharp negative territory along with at best lethargic maybe even negative GDP economy.

Japan's population is around 127 million and around the size of California. Their economy is mostly in the sh1tter thanks to negative population growth. Just thank Toyota, Honda, Sony etc. that keep them afloat.

Why is the rapidly aging native population in the US so worked up about 10 odd million illlegal browns in a land mass 10 times the size of Japan with relatively one third of its population? The logic defies me. This is purely territorial animal behavior.

Go back to Yale and take some pre algebra math.

If you knew something about the country from outside the bubble you wouldn't use land mass.

Land isn't worth much at all without water. People live around water supply and have for centuries.

Just one of the many holes in you argument.

Actually they have more than you'd think. Therein lies the problem.

I don't buy that argument. States like Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah are basically deserts and are now supporting rapidly growing populations and are some of the fastest growing states. The countries with the highest per capita GDP in the world too are water starved - Gulf countries like Qatar, UAE, Kuwait etc.

The problem with humans is that we are still territorial animals just like dogs, tigers or basically any other species that lacks the intelligence to create advanced societies. We are basically irritated with the presence of "others" and biologically programmed to detest them and that is the main reason behind our hate for any foreigners among us. There is a reason even successful people like Jews were genocided for basically no reason...it is the very same instinct embedded in people.

The more people recognize the irrationality of this behavior in modern society, the more we will progress as a civilization.

California has 140,000 homeless people. They aren't "accommodating" very well.

Why can't she get thrown in jail now for aiding and abetting?

Kevin Leon has admitted that half of his family is illegal and using fake or stolen government documents.
