I lived in California while the "good Christians" lied their evangelical rearsides off to pass Prop 8 and make sure gay people weren't treated equally. You can split hairs and argue that it totes wasn't hate, and in the absence of a formal definition of that term, I guess there's no settling that question. But there's a huge streak of people in mainstream US Christianity who would much prefer to get the gays way back into the closet again.
Prop 8 passed because of overwhelming support in black and Hispanic communities. It lost everywhere else.

That is just a lie. You would be hard pressed to find a church anywhere in this country, aside from Westboro Baptist Church, that would not gladly welcome these people into their church, as long as they wanted to come to seek God, and not to be disruptive.
Just because that is how you think, it does not follow that your political adversaries mirror your hateful, bad attitudes.
If you believe this to be true, you are sorely mistaken. I am personally familiar with several churches within my area who make a very vocal pronouncement that gay/lesbian and trans folk are NOT welcome.
Certainly. American leftists are carrying out a very agressive and very public "Active measures" campaign against our country, beside which the Russians Active measures" program pales in comparison.
American leftists hate this country, as their behavior routinely demonstrates.
Also, they are a more effective enemy to our nation than the Russians ever have been. Our country is more at risk from the inside than the outside, and the American left is the primary source of that risk.

In my experience, liberals usually “grow up” and change to more conservative, common sense politics by about age 40. Then there are the pony tail wearing nuts who failed in life and just keep reliving their youth.
They used to be an insignificant number but look at Seattle and San Francisco...full of aging hippies still trying to fight city hall.
They are going from a harmless annoyance to a problem.
Your experience is very limited. I was a liberal before I understood the term, never had a ponytail, have been very successful in my careers throughout my life and “appear” fairly mainstream conservative in appearance. The same can be said for the majority of my life long friends. As I am quickly approaching retirement, I am as liberal now as I was at 13, when I first became educated in politics. Most people’s values are established early in life. Mine have only strengthened with time. The only possible change is that I strive ( not always successfully) to respect other’s viewpoints. Not always easy in today’s vitriolic society.
