Goal post moved. I stopped reading after this, it says a lot if your attempt is to use this one liner taken out of contex, it just shows how blinded and disingenuous you are.
We as the citizens of the US should keep bringing up the issue, make it front and center, make our elected officials accountable, regardless of party.
To dismiss an issue because "it's the GOP or Trumps fault" or "we shouldn't do anything because nothing will happen" is a lazy cop-out and is not even true.
The increased amount of illegals trying to enter at the border is a reflection of the great economy we currently have. If we had a wall, this wouldn't even be an issue.

It's been a front burner issue for years and all they'll do is pick up a few more illegals to give the impression that they're doing something about it. Meanwhile, thousands upon thousands remain or are replaced by fresh arrivals.
It's human trafficking for cheap labor. And it's supported by corporate America.
And, like I said, the right people benefit, so it'll continue.
Go ahead and contact your senators and congressman. They'll pretend to be sympathetic to your concerns, but lobbyists for the construction and poultry industries will fund their re-election campaigns.
I leave it to you to figure out who pulls more weight.
You must not follow what has transpired in Europe the past three years. Expect you might be able to pick Europe out on a map, but doubt you have not been there, recently. I have several times and can tell you that Europe is not coping well with their invasion.
Doh! Why the ... would we more on a per capita basis. Why would we wait until we get more crime. The invaders were warned. They have chosen to put their children in this situation. The invader parents is where the egregious dereliction of responsibility lies. Nowhere else.
Stop with the uniformed, mindless diarrhea masquerading as self-righteous opinion.

Yet we don't see them criminalising these folks, we don't see them taking children away from their mom or dad. We do see them deporting them, putting them in camps, and we see massive military presence along their borders as they try to keep people out. But when they get in they treat them like humans.
Many americans seem to think we are the only nation with these issues. Hint to Trumpers this is a global issue, there is mass poverty in many nations the people there seek a better life just like your great grandparents, your parents etc. I am not claiming we should welcome everyone, but we don't have to be complete A holes about it.
we can manage the border fine without terrorising children. Anyone supporting this policy is working against God and everything god stands for. You have no excuse, you can't justify it because we have not seen any increases no new dangers no new crimes no new harm to justify such an egregious policy..
Border arrests exceed 50,000 for third month in a row
U.S. border agents made more than 50,000 arrests in May for the third month in a row, the Department of Homeland Security said Wednesday, an indication that escalating enforcement tactics by the Trump administration — including separating migrant parents from their children — has not had an immediate deterrent effect.
DHS took 51,912 migrants into custody in May, nearly three times the number detained in May 2017, a period when illegal immigration plunged following Trump’s inauguration.
Arrests at the border this spring have jumped to their highest levels since Trump took office, and the reversal has left the president furious at Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and other aides who he believes aren’t doing enough to stop the trend. Border arrests exceed 50,000 for third month in a row
Once again.....the facts debunk President Pinocchio's BS blarney!
I'm kinda lost here. What in the world is your point? Are you trying to make a case for building the wall or something?
How sick and twisted does someone have to be to see it a blow against trump and not a blow to America. Are People who enter illegally respecting the law or showing a willingness to respect any other laws they might encounter ? When hundreds of thousands are in our prison system now. The only answer is no.
Lot of Obama holdovers in DHS giving newbies bad advice, so I heard. They will be weeded out.
Trump isn't mad at Nielsen any more, by the way. She knows it isn't personal and he was just expressing frustration with current laws which have enough loopholes to qualify as Swiss cheese. They were buddy buddy at the Long Island MS-13 roundtable a few weeks back if you watched the White House youtube video of the meeting. If you believe MS-13 are not animals now, you will by the time the video ends.
Congress is working on some immigration stuff now, with competing bills. Just heard Ryan mentioning it on the news.
Why is this being spun as bad news?
50,000 more people won't be able to steal someone's identity, and perhaps someone's job as well.
This is what the EXECUTIVE BRANCH of government is supposed to be doing --- ENFORCING OUR LAWS!!
Why is Trump furious about the report? Could it be...….. because it proves what a L-I-A-R he is?
