Hard to believe, considering all the public outcry.

This will not be the end of "net neutrality," unless the Democrats are more interested in politicizing and fundraising off of this issue than they are in establishing "net neutrality". Which unfortunately, appears is likely to be the case.

In fact, the object of the FCC's reform of our internet regulations was to return it to a Tier 1 regulatory framework, which was the framework used from 1996, when President Clinton (D-ARK) signed the Telecommunications Act of 1996 into law, until 2015 - a time when the internet thrived and succeeded beyond virtually anyone's expectations.

If the Senate Democrats will support a telecommunications reform bill that mandates "net neutrality" under the current Tier 1 regulatory structure, that will pass and House Republicans will pass that bill even without Democrat assistance.

But then Trump would get credit for signing it and the Democrats would not be able to fundraise off of this nonsense issue any more. So does anyone really believe that the Democrats care about resolving this issue for the benefit of the American people more than they care about opposing Donald Trump and raising money?

The proof will be in the proverbial pudding.
