What about people in blue states who would rather stay with the U.S.?

Fifth largest economy which resembles a third world country and filled with homes the average income earner can't afford. (why do you think people flee to Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Oregon, etc... )

Thank you Donald J. Trump for forcing Cali to win even if they now wish they weren't.

I'm sure most Californians are disappointed that they are no longer under a high risk of a nuclear ICBM landing on them from Rocket Man in the hopes they can become martyrs in making Trump look bad.

Actually, California is drowning in debt, homelessness, drug epidemic, and massive income inequality.

Blue states should actually merge with Canada. Then we'll have this.

They have no desire to fix the problem, they want to multiply their number.

California's debt to GDP ratio is under 16% -- a very healthy number. And the approximate $1 trillion debt and pension liabilities that the right wingers like to crow about are spread out over 30+ years. It's manageable.

Homelessness is a growing national problem. Low wages, high rents, and low demand for unskilled labor all contribute to the problem. Calif also attracts homeless from other states due to the mild weather.

I'm confused. I thought conservatives and Trumpists loved capitalism? And you do know that Trump's tax cuts for the wealthy make income inequality worse, right? Income inequality in California is a symptom of success, not failure.

California now has a large rainy day fund -- which will act as a savings account to help make those mortgage payments during the lean times.

Look here: California debt clock. Debt to GDP ratio is less than 16%. By any objective measure that's a low and healthy number.
I'm not sure what the entire budget consists of to have a 9 billion dollar surplus but, that clock shows "in-state" revenue vs. spending as a 100+ billion dollar shortage.
