Not hard to separate opinion from fact. Not for me anyway.

I do not care about the Obama birth certificate, the illegal immigrants or ISIS.


What scares me is this one:


Spending on Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid make up the largest portion of the U.S. federal budget.


Only 57% responded that this is fact.


% in each party who classified it correctly:
Republicans: 63%
Democrats: 54%
Independents: 61%



No wonder we get endless budget deficits.

No, a fact can not be an opinion.

If someone says Trump is the best President ever it's an opinion.

If someone says Trump is the worst President ever it's an opinion.

Get it? Just because you believe something to be true does not make it a fact.

Doctors said smoking was good for you, that is an opinion they had, they were paid by cigarette companies to say that.

Smoking is bad for you because it can cause cancer, that is a fact.

Just because you don't personally believe something to be true does not mean it's an opinion.
