You own America. You've got the WH, both houses of congress, AND about to get an even firmer grip on the SC. Not to mention control of something like 33 of the 50 states.
Yet you whine endlessly about "libs imposing their agenda on us!" and how you'll gladly take up arms to prevent it.
Please take a step back, look at yourselves in the mirror, and see how utterly ridiculous you look and sound.
Its Fear. Again. Its what Trump counts on sadly. Republicans have total control so I don't understand why they are so afraid that someone is trying to push any agenda on them.
They got what they want so have at it boys, lets see what a party in total control can do.

Yes, no doubt it's based on fear. And anger.
The right wing media (Fox News and hate radio) constantly broadcasts the message to their compliant, non-analytical audience:
"America sucks and it's all your neighbors' fault! They're out to deprive you of everything you value! They're a hateful enemy! Oppose them with all your might!"
What's sad is that so many of our fellow citizens internalize that crap.
It's not leftists that keep on insisting that a Civil War is inevitable. It's people on the right who keep on talking about it, who prepare for it, who are afraid of the future. People on the left know that what is inevitable is that they will prevail. While American history is a zig-zag between conservatism and liberalism, the overall trajectory is to the left. And while populism may be sweeping the globe, it's not a permanent shift. Just like the Moral Majority a few decades ago wasn't a permanent shift. The left doesn't have to engage in a civil war, they simply have to wait.
The Trump era has pretty much been an extension of the Moral Majority. It's mostly the same people today, just a few decades older i.e. Pat Robertson and Jim Bakker.
If we can make it 10-20 more years I think a lot of the polarization will subside. Millennials and Gen Z are much more live and let live when it comes to things like race, religion, gender, etc than the younger boomers currently driving the narrative in this country.
It’s pretty comical when you have the same group brag about controlling every branch of the government while at the same time motivated by fear and rage and predicting eventual civil war. Even when they completely control everything they fear they’re winning the battle but losing the war.

Exactly what I noticed. Who are they going to blame and make the boogie man? They control every aspect of the country, so how are they going to drive the fear?

Unless he thinks that once he's not part of the majority, those minority folks he treated like crap will treat him the same way, of course.
We see how those folks govern in their own failing nations. We know what would occur. No one wants this nation to become South Africa or Mexico. They are not "treated like crap" here. They have been given unprecedented freedom, protection, and equality in law here. And we did it first. You do not have an adequate global historical view.
If, at some point, our society becomes so polarized that we cannot agree to a "friendly divorce" in the manner of the former Czechoslovakia, or Norway's separation from Sweden (over a century ago, BTW), then the American Experiment will end in failure.

You basically just laid out a lot of admission for political corruption. In a just system, there would be no foregone conclusions. In a just system, there would be no inevitable direction.
Something is corrupt, and this process is that mission to uproot it.
