With all the anger against religion on this site, what is the opportunity that calm and respectful dialogue can occur? I know peace, and I know hope. It would be my guestimate that few of the angry anti-religious people know the peace and hope that my faith journey has led me to know.

It would be interesting to watch from someplace safe like Cuba or Venezuela. I choose these because there would be no room on the planes headed for Australia or new Zeeland.

It would be a neo con economy combines with a religious government. The financiers and the Saudi’s would cheer.

Now if the apocalyptic Christians were running the show the End would really be near.

Jesus preached separation of church and state: "Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God’s." Matthew 22:21 (KJV). Christians would do well to follow Christ’s teaching lest they forfeit their faith for worldliness.
