As for the laughable attempt to turn this into a gun control debate on the part of the OP: if knives are as dangerous as guns, as he proposes, than clearly he'd be fine with giving up his guns and just having a knife, right? After all, the far-right is claiming they are equivalent and that a gun wouldn't have produced more victims, so they'd have no problem with that, correct? Of course not! We're to continue the fiction that a gun is "not really that dangerous" and yet at the same time they are "the only tool we have to kill all the robbers, gang-bangers, UN storm-troopers, and tax collectors" or some idiocy. Obvious, kiddie-school level hypocrisy: the calling card of the far-right.

Thats true. In Chicago there have been 1173 shot and wounded year to date. We have had 213 gunshot homicides. BTW out of 266 homicides there are 218 with no suspects charged. Thats the because the leftist are keeping people safe from violent interventions
