What the left has to understand is that those against the current leftist platform (socialist, SJW, race-driven) are not all MAGA MAGA MAGA! Trump supporters. I'm not. I didn't vote for Trump. But their derangement is pushing me closer to that side than I otherwise would be. Stop with the rhetoric. Stop with the violence. Stop demonizing people who aren't as left as you. Stop comparing everything to Nazi Germany. Stop saying the world is going to end because of something random that Trump said or did. If it doesn't stop, I don't know how the democratic party survives.
Many have already walked away. Republicans have the Presidency, House, and Senate, and their majorities will only grow in the years ahead if the Democrats do not change their ways.
Don't hold your breath waiting for a mass party desertion. Trump is the gift that keeps on giving for the Democrats.
And don't fool yourself into thinking the Democratic party is socialist. It's not, any more than the Republican party is fascist.
