Yes, "bile" is exactly right. It makes sense that he didn't understand the "points of light" - it was about compassion, something alien to Trump.
And, yes, it's even worse how many people don't mind that kind of mean, petty, heartless nastiness that Trump spews.
Of course, the thing to keep in mind is that Trump is in his 70s himself, and likely in worse physical shape than either of them. I doubt he's likely to reach his 90s. And Trump isn't lucky enough to have a loving family the way Bush/McCain do. He'd better hold only Ivanka.

Come on, don't play dumb.
You know perfectly well what I'm saying. Bush's comment was a hope for compassion. The fact that Trump doesn't know - or pretends not to know - what Bush was talking about is an illustration of Trump's own mean, petty, heartless nasty, personality, incapable of compassion, capable only of self-interest.
I just showed you how LOW John McCain is, changing his position on a dime just do obstruct Trump.
You don't seem to understand what John McCain was doing in 2017.
Doesn't matter. Then you address the policy and why the policy Trump is pushing is the best one.
That's how you keep everyone on the message and not rolling their eyes at childish antics.
I find it extremely amusing that Trump, with just a few words, can force the Democrats & leftists to support the Bush political dynasty. They are shedding tears for these war mongers like they are long lost friends. CNN can't help itself either.
I find it hilarious that Trump with just a few words can force the Democrats & leftists to support & cheer this bought & paid for politician they once derided for picking Sarah Palin to be vice President. He's their hero now.
Their derangement is like a reflex they can't control. Of course any message the Democrats might have, which might move people to vote for them, is completely lost in the folly. Trump plays them like a flute.
It's quite delicious to watch, indeed. 2020 will be a fun year.
Trump plays republicans like a flute because most are cowards to go up against him. Democrats aren't cowards. And the war monger is Bolton.
The thousand points of light is actually a small government alternative to government programs. I’d prefer family, friends and charities do more to help those in need and government less.

Yes, but the Bush family hasn't groveled to Our Dear Leader so anything they supported must be ridiculed, attacked and opposed.
You are confusing compassion for a couple of dying men and their families with changing political sides and support for policies those two men supported while in office. Apples and oranges. They both gave their entire adult lives to serving our country and while I and other Democrats might not have supported their positions we can still respect their willingness to serve. They are not enemies in a war, for crying out loud, plus I really like the Bush and McCain women and don't think it's right to be so disrespectful to their loved ones at a time like this. It's called compassion which is something total void in Mr. Trump's heart and mind.
And apparently in his supporters hearts and minds too.
he was talking about thousand point of light, i did not see him say anything about senior bush.
