The loud and violent often get the media coverage but they seem to be in the minority especially in the Democrat Party.

I'm just quoting the results, not the opinion.

Quote:
The (Reuters) poll (registered voters), conducted between June 28 and July 2, found:

"Fifteen percent of U.S. registered voters said immigration was the top issue determining how they will cast their ballot in November, while 14 percent said the economy was their biggest concern. Twenty-six percent of registered Republicans cited immigration as the most important issue likely to determine their vote, up 14 percentage points from a similar poll conducted at the beginning of June. Healthcare remains the top issue for registered Democrats (16 percent), followed by the economy (14 percent), the Reuters/Ipsos poll shows. Seven percent of Democrats cited immigration as their top concern."

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-u...-idUSKBN1JV31K
So keep going with the loud and violent Democrats in the streets. It's making more Republicans say immigration is their most important issue than the potential Democrat voters the radical noisemakers (including the politicians) are trying to "inspire" to go to the polls on Election Day. Jeez, all political issues aside, Democrats, hire better strategists and muzzle some of your politicians. You should be out there humping on healthcare but maybe it's not as sexy, eh?

And, you know whose fault it is that voters think the economy is an important issue for Democrats? The losers in the news media who refuse to say how great the economy is doing right now especially with voters the Democrats typically call their base. Their less than stellar biased "reporting by omission" is going to wind up with Democrat politicians having nowhere to go with it, with women, blacks and Hispanics (identity politics) who (each group) right now have record employment levels. They don't need no stinkin' news media or DNC to tell them what's up with employment. They're living it.

Blue wave or red tide?

Well with the way the Dems are championing the Rights of illegal aliens while turning their backs on LEGAL immigrants and citizens I will be very surprised if they can win much at all.

Yes Human Rights are important issues to be concerned about but when we have millions of people that are already hurting in this country why is the Left so crazy to want to import millions more?

I really worry about our future when the Dems get back in power.

Amnesty for 20 million plus.

Refugees, asylum seekers and just plain dreamers will be lining up at the border for their "Free Pass" to the US.

The Second Amendment will be rewritten to severely limit the original intent. Hopefully Trump will get yet another pick for the SC so we can avoid that.

Plus so many other common sense policies will be under attack by the deranged extreme Left that has seemingly taken over the Democrat party.

The Dems really do need to change their message, refocus their attention to issues that average Americans face and in some cases simply enforce existing laws when it comes to immigration.

Far left or far right, both sides are broken. Democrats shouting about abolishing ICE is a stupid message. Republicans ripping babies and children away from mothers is a cruel policy. Both sides need new blood and reasonable thinkers.

Omigod! It gets worse. They're calling Trump's jobs agenda - "reckless" even though members of their supposed base (Hispanics) hit a new unemployment record low for June.

My prediction remains that the alt left hate filled extremists will continue to control the Demonic Rat agenda as they get clubbed in 2018 and even worse in 2020.....at that point, some sane Democrats will have an opportunity of pulling the party closer to the center where they can have a chance of getting some power back.

you cannot rewrite an amendment, it must be repealed and replaced. and given the necessary numbers, that will never happen, at least no in our lifetimes.

This is starting to seem likely. Although it could get scary if the alt left hate filled extremists actually manage to win in 2020.

Well that is true but state by state they can ban and restrict what is lawful to own. In my state bump stocks were banned. you had 2 months to get them out of state or turn them into the Police with no recompense being made. If you are caught with one now you will be criminally prosecuted. They were not that popular to begin with and I believe that only a few were turned in to be destroyed but there was no mention of what the state was going to do about rounding them up from criminals.

Right now it is illegal to buy or sell a so called "assault weapon" in my state. You can still own one for now and you can still buy bullets for it. This sweeping reinstatement of the expired federal ban was taken up by our AG in the name of public safety and is currently being challenged in court.

Gun control has always been a hot topic for the Dems and there is little doubt that if they gained power in many states that we would be seeing attacks and restrictions on peoples second amendment rights. They might not be able to scratch off the 2nd but they can certainly restrict rights under the guise of "common sense safety" .

Anti Gun
Pro Illegal Alien
The never ending attacks on a duly elected President and splitting the country further along race lines and religious lines is certainly an example of being on the wrong side of issues.

People can only take so much change that is forced on them.

Not much of a bark if its only 7%. It seems only the fringe from both parties consider immigration top concern.
