More evidence that the Democratic Party is going further to the left .

This is the guy that claimed half his family is here illegally and used fake documentation .

Also he’s the one that was behind the bad Sanctuary State policy

California Democratic Party leaders took a step to the left Saturday night, endorsing liberal state lawmaker Kevin de León for Senate in a stinging rebuke of Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein.
De León’s victory reflected the increasing strength of the state party’s liberal activist core, which was energized by the election of Republican Donald Trump as president.

The endorsement was an embarrassment for Feinstein, who is running for a fifth full term, and indicates that Democratic activists in California have soured on her reputation for pragmatism and deference to bipartisanship as Trump and a Republican-led Congress are attacking Democratic priorities on immigration, healthcare and environmental protections.

“I just think we need a younger, progressive person there,” she said. “The Democratic Party in California has moved to the left, and he personifies those values.”

In rebuke of Dianne Feinstein, Kevin de León wins endorsement of California Democrats in Senate race

Oh brother:

On Friday night, De León hosted an “ABOLISH ICE CREAM SOCIAL” for delegates, a nod toward the Democratic-led effort to abolish the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency after its agents separated thousands of children from their parents after they crossed the border.
I listened to that NPR interview where he said identity theft was "no big thing" and that people do what they need to do to survive. No doubt all his energy in the U.S. Senate would go toward furthering eroding immigration law and giving further protections and benefits to people here illegally. Passing his legislation at the federal level would be a disaster for the country.

Yeah it’s disappointing . I don’t think people have even thought how bad his ideas are for legal citizens and non criminals . They just want someone new /young and someone that has blind hate for Trump .

Ok people don’t have to like Trump but don’t go with someone that is going to destroy the country .

Can’t they find someone sensible ?

Vote for John Cox for governor. A businessman with common sense who is sick of the deterioration of California. Then hold your nose and vote for every Republican on the ticket. I noticed there were quite a few candidates for other offices who listed "No party affiliation" which is a good thing. Growing trend and part of the #WalkAway movement.

Democrats still don't get it, and I hope that continues. Illegal immigration was almost certainly a top three reason why Trump won.

Good riddance to Feinstein. She's lucky she got through her career without accidentally shooting someone. She once swept a crowd with the muzzle of an AK at one of her dog-and-pony anti-gun shows. Security should have tackled her.

Of course Deleon is worse if that is possible.
