They actually stated this publicly before the 2016 election, and almost nobody paid much attention.

But a large part of the team’s strategy now mirrors the negative slant of the larger Trump campaign. In the words of an unnamed senior official quoted by Bloomberg, they’re running “three major voter suppression operations,” aimed at lowering turnout among liberals, young women, and black voters.

The Russians already had possession of the DNC's donor list, opposition research, and voter lists. Investigators are zeroing in on whether this was a public signal by the Trump campaign to the Russians to ramp up their social media voter suppression campaign using the stolen DNC data.

Much of that stolen database will still be useful in the 2020 election. Social media companies are more aware of the dangers of their operations to American society, but the Trump administration still has not implemented any measures to limit foreign interference with our elections.

Can we get off of the Trump bandwagon? Obama did nothing wither and he knew about it but thought the election would go in Hillary's favor.

We've done this to several other countries but when someone does it to us - now you're concerned?? Get over the election and hope our party puts up a worthwhile candidate in 2020 - and not Bernie, Hillary or Warren because I'll vote for Trump over any of those.

They tried in past elections... they tried to do the same to the RNC but could not find anyone as inept as Podesta...

I'm hoping the Dems nominate someone like Adam Schiff. Bernie is not a Democrat and he's just not going to get the nomination of a party he refuses to join. Hillary will make a great stalking horse. While the Republicans a running against her, the Dems can nominate someone else.

I'm not concerned about Trump in 2020. He would lose in the biggest landslide loss in American history. The whole country is sick and tired of him, and he would lose to anyone else.

Problem is that many of us are tired of the Dems too.
