Yes, they started back in the early 20th century by infesting our universities, media, entertainment, and government. They knew that was the best way to destroy the US--through the conquering of the minds of youth and average Joe. McCarthy wanted to boot the commies out, but the left would have none of that. Since, they've continued to infect the minds of a good portion of our populace--that portion mainly being liberals, collectivists, progressives, etc. After all, who is it that is the champion of socialism in the US? For one thing, we're not certain the Russians did not change any votes, since we're not privy to all the information from the investigation. And even if they did not alter anyone's voting choices, so what? Election meddling is still election meddling. You're basically arguing attempted murder shouldn't be punished because the deed wasn't successful
