Only if based on a federal law. IE allow changes based on local costs.

Sorry I believe in balance. It will be like a dollar in red states and 20 bucks in blue states. Neither of which make sense or have balance.

Indeed, I am puzzle by 'the value of the labor decreased, has been decreasing for centuries' statement. What do you mean? Are you trying to compare today's economic system with the feudal system?
I thought I gave the answer.

The value of labor, like every other product we have, is driven by competition and automation. The more oil on the market, the more the price of oil would drop; the more people know how to do the work, the more the salary would down.

The fact is that more people are educated now than ever. It diminishes the value of educated labor and further diminishes the uneducated labor, which is why Starbucks is hiring college students to serve coffee, totally unheard 50 years ago. Old skills or jobs like typewriting become obsolete, and the value of their labor is essentially zero.

However, as we progress, more jobs are created and new skills are needed. 50 years who heard of computer programmers? But they were paid a gazillion amount of money. Now, we have millions of them, and it's a dice a dozen.

I don't support a $15.00 per hour minimum wage at all.

I think it should be higher. $16.50/hour perhaps ...
You support even more job destruction. Bravo!

Wage should be set by the free market.

Any attempt of government price fixing is just slavery in a mutated form.

one way of explaining it, or dumbing it down for the everyday person is...\

the way liberals/socialist are pushing """"free""" college

giving free college, degrades the value of a degree (at all levels)

if you are going to '''handout''' free college and free degrees, to every slacker, just for breathing... what does that make the degree worth for the guy who worked hard for it and gave his/her all to EARN it

I'm sure as hell no Democrat but I'd support serious consideration of gradually transitioning to $15 per hour and then permanently tie minimum wage to inflation thereafter. If you're going to have a minimum wage at all, you should be able to survive on it pretty much anywhere in the country. If your going to have minimum wage at all, its buying power should remain consistent over time.
