A black boxer who was wrongly convicted and died in prison decades ago was championed by Sly Stallone, past and present boxing champions and officials who lobbied on behalf of his family who wanted a posthumous pardon for the man. Obama ignored them. Trump brought them to the White House for the official pardon. There is video online if you search. Did fake news even cover this event?
A black woman, Alice Marie Johnson, was imprisoned on a first time nonviolent drug offense for life. Clean record otherwise. Her family and various groups tried to get her pardoned and released over twenty years but Obama, who pardoned many drug offenders with worse records, ignored them. Kim Kardashian took up her cause and brought it to Trump's attention. He pardoned her and got her released. She's been on TV and social media expressing her gratitude to Trump and to Kim Kardashian for bringing her case to his attention. She was recently on Fox News talking about this. An articulate woman.
Hmm you all say this WH is all about prison reform yet Jeff Sessions is pushing harsher penalties. It would be nice if trump and his AG were on the same page
One Black person says something and we are supposed to believe him?
Obama was in office for 8 years and all you folks called him a liar every day.
Because he lied. duh
