i'm hoping that's the case but....... i could easily see anonymous' participation in debunking "Q" actually strengthening the belief among his followers ( obama releasing his "long-form" only increased the scope of birtherism ).

don't know, i imagine there are multiple outlets citing the possibility of it being a left-wing prank. i'm not the only one on this forum that believes that is the most likely explanation..... and that includes some trump supporters.
