You have to remember, the left, particularly the media, are all about dividing this country, playing identity politics and turning us against one another. Those that don't play into their agenda are labeled racists or bigots, regardless of the real motivations. Those on the left embrace violence and intolerance, rather than rational discussion and working towards solutions.
The people of Chicago are no different than anywhere else.
They are shooting at such a high rate because they are easily getting guns from Indiana. The state border is literally like a neighborhood street and people are driving trunkloads from gun shows.
So why doesn't Indiana have a high gun crime rate like Chicago if all the guns in Indiana are the problem?

With the population density of Chicago over Indianapolis, is it a surprise that there's more crime? Aren't more densely populated areas typically higher in crime, because well, more people?
Why is Indiana a higher crime state with less people overall? HALF the population of Illinois, and MORE crime.
