Apparently the big issue of closing Gitmo and freeing the Terrorists there was only an issue for Obama. It has completely died out and not a single other Democrat politician has brought it up. Was it really only an issue for Obama? Will the next Democratic president pick up where O left off?

Impeach the President of the United States and nullify the Votes of those who Elected him.
Nancy Pelosi's instructions - "Say anything, do whatever you have to - just get elected".
They MAY go back to dropping pallets of cash to Terror Nations
They MAY go back to trading Terrorists for US Deserters
They MAY go back to apologizing for the USA all over the world
They MAY go back to suppressing business, raising taxes and low employment

Closing Gitmo had nothing to do with 'freeing the Terrorist' -- in fact the biggest complain at the time -- the criminals at Gitmo would be coming to mainland USA.
So your whole question/discussion/thread is based on made up stuff.
Democrats won't win the next election. They got nothing to run with which the American public wants.
