The GOP said the massive corporate tax cut would give companies so much money that the companies would give employees pay increases. This has not occurred. The companies are doing stock buybacks with their newfound money.

Tax cut fail.

Tax cut fail.

90% of Americans are getting a bigger paycheck due to the lower tax rates and 4 million got raises and bonuses right after the bill was signed.

To the elites on the left that is crumbs. The dems could come together with the GOP and do bipartisan tax relief for working people but they seem to just want to obstruct.

Stagnated wages? Fill me in are we supposed to blame Trump for wrecking the rising Obama economy or blame Trump for giving tax relief to companies and the people?

The Left would have the minimum wage raised to $15 per hour to give everyone a "living wage" but what happens 6 months from now when another PEW report comes out claiming that there were massive layoffs, companies are doing more with less of a labor force, companies are embracing robots and once again wages are stagnating and everyone should be making $16 per hour?

DO we blame Trump again ? I know the answer to that.

Is this a trait of the rich? Dont the middle class and the poor also try to get the best deal they can for themselves?

I think they do.

If not, no wonder why they are poor.

The brain dead are those that think the "Rich" should automatically be targeted to give more of their money just because they have more......I pay my taxes... That's all the money you are getting out of me and I will work hard and pay some smart tax guy to keep as much of my money as I can.... Unless they put their feet under my table no one gets any consideration from me. I wouldn't pee on their head if their hat was on fire.......

That is an odd blanket statement. It sounds like you are bitter and jealous of the rich?

I have worked at companies where if we had a good year there were bonuses for all. I am close to 3 small manufacturing and service companies that suffered during the recession but managed to keep its doors open and employees happy. Today they are humming right along, sales are up, the owners live good lives and their companies are expanding, buying new equipment, introducing new products.

If the rich owners never gave one cent there wouldn't be much business today and there wouldn't be hundreds of families benefitting from the jobs.

There are so many examples of rich people being charitable and the recipients of their charity are not brain dead morons.

The poor often have the food stamp cards get everything free. Paid for by the "greedy" rich as the other poster called them.

My last raise (four months ago) was 5.7%.

Not sure what the problem is.
Right - because your situation....means everyone has the same, right?

Never mind the stories I can tell you of experienced hard working computer programmers that made 1/2 as much at each job they got.....I guess that sorta messes up your "truth".
