When volcanoes stop erupting, cows stop farting and belching and other natural occurrences that increase CO2 and Methane levels AND "global warming still occurs. Maybe I'll be a believer in this crap

The earth runs in cycles. Always has and always will.

The Midwest was once glaciers and oceans, and that is based on science (fossils)

Maybe global warming, cycles, prove God has a sense of adventure

But y'all don't advocate that, which means you're scamming us.
I got a pitiful anonymous response in a "reputation comment":

"Your post just wasted two minutes of everyone’s time reading it, you need to grow a brain and read a few books, maybe learn something before you post. "

Did it really take you two minutes to read that?

Is there anything in my comment that suggests that reading a book would help, since I didn't come close to "denying" AGW?

The point is that the Left is not interested in stopping and reversing AGW. They are interested in something else. And that's the scam.

China is doing a lot more than the US to mitigate climate change, as you would know if you ever read anything other than local news....Here try it.

What science? We have no way of knowing what the science is.

3 posters on here mention China is a big polluter.....and that the U.S has cleaned up it's act. That's true, but it's because we shifted our pollution to China by offshoring our industry to them and then buying the finished products from them. Based on consumption alone, the U.S is a huge...HUGE contributor to global CO2 emissions.

And the OP makes a good point. By denying the link between man-made pollution and climate change, right-wingers/climate deniers leave themselves out of the policy debates and decision making in this country and worldwide. Not only that, but we are falling behind others countries like China and Germany who are gaining an upper-hand in the in clean technology and other innovations to address this problem.

Just because you haven't seen the evidence, or are just ignoring it doesn't mean there is none...In any case the evidence is easily observable today.

"The human fingerprint in global warming is evident in multiple lines of empirical evidence - in satellite measurements of outgoing infrared radiation, in surface measurements of downward infrared radiation, in the cooling stratosphere and other metrics."

We wont know whether, or not, climate change is real. Or, if it is just another normal climate shift, for another 50-100 million years

Please comeback and report on your easily observable evidence then. Thanks

There have been points in history in which the temperatures was far higher, and far lower than it is now. And C02 levels have been far higher, and far lower. All pre-dating man kind.

What is it that democrats are trying to accomplish by imposing more regulations and wasting billions of dollars? Are they going to press the magic "hold" button on the earth's climate controls?
