First off. Innocent until proven guilty only applies in a court. Meanwhile in reality most of us know Manafort is guilty because the trial has been publicized, as has the evidence.

The reality is that even if Manafort gets some Trump lover to refuse to say guilty because of Trump, that wont change the reality everyone knows. Manafort is a bad guy. If Trump pardons him its because Trump is letting people get off with committing crimes. Its because Trump is allowing corruption to flourish. Manafort is no "political prisoner". Hes a guy that hid money from taxes, defrauded banks, and forced his wife to be gang banged and recorded because he got off on it. trump has problem with Mueller digging up issues with nothing to do with collusion. It was Rosenstein that defended manafort successfully on same charges.
Let's see what the jury says re his crimes against humanity.
Mueller is essentially sending a message to trump supporters. if you support trump we will hound you to hell and punish you for breaking a law we typically do not prosecute or we will get you for lying.
what makes everyone's heads explode is the pass hillary got for obvious crimes, the clear collusion with Russia among other questionable behavior and appointing a special prosecutor based on no crime. A deviation from the requirement for a special prosecutor.Even Chelsea was alarmed at the Clinton foundation behavior.
Bill Clinton with eric holder's help pardoned marc rich a crooked financier much like a Bernie Madoff. along with PR terrorists who killed people. Obama followed up and pardoned the head of that PR terror group.
Obama puts a tax cheat in charge of the treasury.

If Manafort is found guilty by the people and trump pardons him, it'll cost him politically.
The 30% to the right don't matter any more than the 30% on the left. It's everyone in the middle that counts. Blatant corruption costs a lot of votes. Ask any president in the past that's tried it.
The bigger question is why the left isn't supporting Manafort given their love for criminals ?

Why would anyone support Manafort, he was being paid by the Russian party to support their puppet in Ukraine. That has nothing to do with this trial at least directly but tooting for a conviction for this type of person should be bipartisan.
The support for people like this based purely on support for a president is new territory.
Manaforts daughter had her phone messages released to the internet. Here are some nice comments about the guy so many on the right are defending. From his own daughter:

But this is your "good guy"?
Your "good guy" OJ is a killer, Manafort might be guilty of tax evasion, big big big difference. Manafort is no "bad guy", he's a guy out to make a living for his family. Mule-Ear knew about the alleged tax evasion for over 10 years and did nothing until he could attempt to use Manafort against Trump because Trump fired his best friend (Comey the liar)....hence, you have your political prisoner.
About that tax evasion, this is on foreign earned income in which we are one of the rare countries that taxes foreign earned income....I've worked many years in countries in the Middle East alongside Brits, Aussies, Italians, French, etc. that paid no income tax because their nations don't charge foreign earned income tax while I paid up to $100K/yr to Uncle Same while not being in the nation or using the services for those taxes.
Feelings....I feel like Mueller, Comey and Rosenstein are Brokeback Mountain type of friends....tres amigas.
