Actually this deal is with Federal Prosecutors, but it does have implications for the Manafort and the Mueller investigations.
The Donald's number of friends is getting smaller, and people VERY close to him who know everything about him have now turned, or are about to turn (assumes Manafort is guilty on all, or nearly all, charges) states evidence.
Donald had a chance to tell the truth, but he chose to lie. That was a poor decision, it seems.

What dopes don't understand is that there is no precedent for a President to pardon themselves, and just because Trump says he can doesn't actually mean it would be legally viable for him to do so.
And it is pretty clear it would not be politically viable.
