Woah! Folks are saying Michael Cohen is not cooperating, he's only pleading guilty for a lesser sentence.
Michael Cohen will plead guilty to bank fraud, tax evasion, and campaign finance violations. Looks like he will serve anywhere from 7-11 years in federal prison. Donald Trump will not pardon him because Cohen would be forced to testify and not plead the fifth, so I guess he's willing to serve a decade of his life to protect Trump.
Either that, or like Paul Manafort, Michael Cohen fears for his safety and the safety of his family if he were to cooperate.
Wow, so it's possible that TWO people close to Donald Trump will be found guilty (one by trial, one by plea deal) of multiple federal charges on the same day.
I have a feeling Trump knew this was coming and that's why he tossed Cohen to the wolves that day on Air Force One. Will see what the plea deal is for and what he cops too but, I wouldn't be surprised if Cohen takes the full weight of his crimes on himself and never mentions Trump or his Brighton Beach partners.
Rush just announced this. Said there was no deal to cooperate.
Let's face it. If Mueller thought he had something on Trump, he wouldn't have given this case to NY
But Cohen and Manafort were undeniably engaged in criminal activity, and both were very, very close to Trump during the campaign (Manafort) and during both the campaign and Trump's time in office. There is strong evidence that the illegal actions of both helped Trump (a) hide his adulterous involvement with a series of women and (b) win the election, with the corrupt assistance of Russia, for whom Manafort also worked.
You are parsing words - investigating suspected criminals necessarily involves investigating crimes and corruption, and vice versa.
Neither Obama nor Hillary Clinton are presently in the White House. Trump is. I think it would be appropriate if Trump were given the "Hillary treatment", and also had to testify in person for eleven hours about his suspected misdeeds...
So anyone that has stood next to a criminal at one time is accountable for their crime too.

As soon as Andrew Cuomo testifies at Joe Perrocco's next trial Trump will testify. Andy should set the stage and do the right thing to pressure Trump to do the same.
I bet he won't need Hope Hicks to steam his pants aboard Air Force One en route to West Virginia this afternoon...
Every inch of him is gonna be steamin'! Maybe all that steam coming out of his ears can be used to supplement that (un) clean coal he's so fond of talking about.
What dopes don't comprehend is NOTHING will bring President Trump down. Charge him, indict him whatever you want he has executive privilege and can and will just pardon himself.
Are you saying he can't be impeached? He can just unimpeach himself?
That's not how it works.
