Of course we all know WV has gone from perhaps the most solid blue state to one of the most reliable red ones in recent years. Manchin is surfing that divide and holding on, but he is so popular, even as a Democrat. He should go down, but manages to hang on.

His testimony and Lindsey Graham's sure made me feel better today and if they keep it up this non-Trump voter will be voting for him. Dems please run Cory Booker or Kamala Harris.

Jackie at the University of Virginia lied. The woman who accused the Duke LaCrosse players lied. We’ve had so many false reports of hate crimes they have a website for it.

To say that someone should automatically be believed when the very cornerstone of our justice system is that the accuser has to prove their case, not the other way around, is a farce. I fear for these people to regain power. They should not be rewarded for this con job.
You are consistently rational & fair in your observations out here. Great poster.

Repubs want this sad sack on the Supreme Court? Pathetic.
If you guys think you are going to get any rubber stamp opinions from Kavanaugh after this despicable performance, you better think again.

Why is it that Republicans so hate their country?

1) Citizens United: Corporations are people (Monsanto's seed drifts into a small farmer's field; they sue him for "theft" and win. Vermont says that milk products must state whether they contain rBGH or not; foreign corporation sues, saying that Vermont is interfering with international trade.). Check.
2) The GOP sells off pieces of pristine American wilderness to foreign extraction companies. Check.
3) The GOP delists endangered species so that deranged Republicans can shoot mother bears and their babies in their winter dens. Check.
4) Mitch McConnell and his cronies drag coal miners from work for a photo-op with Mitt Romney, and dock their pay. Check.
5) GOP steals right of SCJ nomination from a sitting president. Check.
6) Republicans send an uneducated, lying sexual predator to the White House and cheer. Check.
7) Republicans everywhere hating on Hilary Clinton because--well, because Trump and FOX tell them to, and because Republicans are generally misogynistic.

And the list goes on and on.

Oh, and we will have "fun" with the blue wave, thanks. "Fun," that is in ending the vicious misappropriation of government by the GOP.

Correct. Those that continue to support Kavanaugh, is this the best candidate your party has to offer? You know, MAGA and all that. If you truly think he's the best, that's a sad, sad thing. Neill Gorsuch is a good man who deserved his SC seat, regardless of ideological differences. This guy is not a good candidate. He's such an inappropriate candidate the GOP is hiding a lot of things about him from us. And this is besides that pesky sexual assault thing. He is not the only judge in the USA.
