I know a girl who called the police on her husband, had him thrown out of the house because she accused him of hitting her but she made the mistake of telling a friend that he didn't. Do you support this type of behavior? Obviously you do. Yet he had to go to court to defend himself all because she wanted him out of the house and to take him for a ride financially. The girls friend was sickened by her making a false accusation like this so she went to court for him. Maybe that will be you some day.
I'm a woman and this stinks to high heaven. Men will be afraid to work along side us women, go to school with us for fear of being accused of something they didn't do. Democrats are doing this all in the name of getting their way.

This at the very least gave those democrats in red states a good reason for a no vote, if so they are back to swinging one republican.
Strangely there are certainly other good choices that the Federalist Society recommended, they seemed to have over reached on this one. The Gorsuch hearings went pretty quietly, this was not a good choice at this point in time.

No, it doesn't need to be. Her highly dubious last-minute claim needs to be disregarded.
There are times and places for this kind of allegation to be made and considered, and she decided not to take advantage of any of them. She didn't even tell her friends at the time that this Kavanaugh kid was a kreep. She's making the story up.

Women don't necessarily 'tell their friends' about a rape or attempted rape. THEY DON'T TELL ANYONE.
What about that don't people get? Women don't tell because they are afraid what people will think about them. Because they think it makes them less a person.
Some women never tell; some wait 20-30 years and only when something happens to bring it all back - they tell someone.
