I know a girl who called the police on her husband, had him thrown out of the house because she accused him of hitting her but she made the mistake of telling a friend that he didn't. Do you support this type of behavior? Obviously you do. Yet he had to go to court to defend himself all because she wanted him out of the house and to take him for a ride financially. The girls friend was sickened by her making a false accusation like this so she went to court for him. Maybe that will be you some day.

I'm a woman and this stinks to high heaven. Men will be afraid to work along side us women, go to school with us for fear of being accused of something they didn't do. Democrats are doing this all in the name of getting their way.

Sen. Susan Collins
@SenatorCollins
Professor Ford and Judge Kavanaugh should both testify under oath before the Judiciary Committee

Correct! Like Ford, Kavanaugh should take a lie detector test. We already have one useless sexual predator on the Supreme Court, looks like there will be another one.

But you don't know if this really didn't happen. You are assuming it didn't. We don't know.

Then why wasn't it brought up before? Believe me, as a women I would have spoken out MUCH, MUCH sooner if it was true. This is Democrats hail Mary. It reminds me of the BS the Democrats put Judge Clarence through. Disgusting.

Sure, it's a sneaky trick to pull this out now - but wasn't it a sneaky trick GOP successfully played on Merrick Garland? Both sides know very well how to play these games...

Strangely there are certainly other good choices that the Federalist Society recommended, they seemed to have over reached on this one. The Gorsuch hearings went pretty quietly, this was not a good choice at this point in time.
Not even.

Being part of the Bush legal team that justified torture, using documents stolen from Democrats (how did he think they were obtained?), ... then lying about it all under oath. Regardless of his political leanings, he doesn't have the ethical compass to be on the Supreme Court.

Lying about discussing the Mueller investigation with an attorney that he had worked with for years and continues to socialize with, what's with that?

Surely, the Federalist Society could come up with a better nominee than a serial liar.

I do believe that the days of "When they go low, we go high" are over.

Sorry.
I’m pleased that the Dem’s finally stopped bringing butter knives to a sword fight. These Republicans play (and have BEEN playing) dirty, and it’s amusing to watch them being force-fed a gallon of their own Pepto Bismol.

a lie detector test is garbage.....that's why is never admissible in court.

and we don't know the details on the questions she was asked in her paid lie detector test.....either way, it's garbage.

people repeat foolish things.

There are times and places for this kind of allegation to be made and considered, and she decided not to take advantage of any of them. She didn't even tell her friends at the time that this Kavanaugh kid was a kreep. She's making the story up.
It's not going to be disregarded.

Women don't necessarily 'tell their friends' about a rape or attempted rape. THEY DON'T TELL ANYONE.

What about that don't people get? Women don't tell because they are afraid what people will think about them. Because they think it makes them less a person.

Some women never tell; some wait 20-30 years and only when something happens to bring it all back - they tell someone.

There is not enough money in the WORLD to compensate this woman for what she is going to go through.
