Speaking of golf, Kavenaugh is a member of the Chevy Chase Club where the initiation fee is reportedly $92K. $9K in annual dues.
He bought a home for $1,225,000 which he explains is a fixer upper. So in addition to an estimated $6K+/monthly mortgage , taxes, and insurance payments, there are the remodeling costs.
He has two kids in private schools.
Plus he buys season tickets to Washington National games, which is his explanation for why he owed around $200,000 in 2017. Fortunately, he was able to pay that all off by the time he was nominated for the Supreme Court in 2018.
He has a federal judge’s salary of $220,600 a year.
His wife works part-time, earning $66,000 a year job as the town manager in their village of 225 homes. Sweet gig, eh?
So on a combined income of $286,600/year, they are able to live in a million dollar fixer upper, send their kids to private schools, buy season tickets to the Washington Nationals, afford membership in an exclusive golf club, ...
Something doesn't add up here.
So, the B.S. assault claim is going nowhere so now you're bitc#ing about his lifestyle? Man, talk about grasping at straws...
What? What about her making the stupid choice to go party with four boys from another high school. Alcohol was involved. What was she thinking would happen?
And all woman should know self defense moves. Like kneeing a man in the balls.
Is it just me that thinks it’s odd that we expect a 15 year-old to remember details about high school algebra and Catcher in the Rye but not remember almost getting raped 30 years ago. In these kinds of cases we are attacking a 15 years girl for not behaving like an adult would in a similar situation.
I would be willing to guess that asking for an FBI investigation before she testifies is not something she came up with on a whim. Based on her professional background and lawyers consultation it would be sound advice to have the backing of the FBI when she is questioned. They would rule out the chance that she is lying before she testified. The questioning panel knows this and obviously doesn’t want this to happen.
To all the above, you can't compare this to Hill. Thomas was accused of sexually harassing Hill while both worked at federal agencies, in potential violation of federal law; Ford has accused Kavanaugh of sexual harassment that would fall well outside of any applicable federal or state statue of limitations because the alleged episode occurred decades ago.
This is not a criminal matter, this is about the character of a man who is being appointed to the highest court in the country.
If it is possible, I would prefer a brief but formal investigation to be done by the FBI to make sure all possible evidence and testimony from all parties involved are looked into. Wouldn't you?
Kavanaugh and his friend forcefully grabbed the woman from a hallway as she was exiting the bathroom; they forced her into the bedroom, closed the door and turned up the music. She was't alone with them until they forcefully abducted her from the hallway.
Do you propose separate elevators for women and men and then blame with woman for walking into the elevator with the man and give the man a pass if he rapes her in the elevator? Do you propose that a woman never enter an Uber or Cab if a man is driving?
They did huh? So you have proof of your accusations or, most likely are you just defaming someone on the shaky words of someone else to fit your agenda.
PUT UP OR SHUT UP! let's see the proof of what you accuse...
