If kavanaugh is truly innocent, why not encourage and welcome a formal FBI investigation, since it will prove (according to Kavanaugh supporters) that is will 100% completely clear his name?
You keep ignoring the fact that Feinstein and the Dems had that letter from Ford for 3 months. They waited until the last minute to bring it up just in time to stop the confirmation vote. No, it's quite obvious what this is about. You don't like it, but that's what it is. Dems are losing credibility by the moment.
The FBI investigation could have happened 2 months ago, but that's not what the dems wanted here.

That is true...yes?

Of course, but an investigation begins with an interview with the victim to establish the parameters to investigate. That would include detailed questions on date and location. And often the FBI will want to conduct their own polygraph. Let's do that Monday.

Ford wants the FBI to investigate first for two reasons. One, as a delay tactic since investigations take weeks if not months. Two, to find out all that they are going to find out before saying anything under oath.

THERE IS PRECEDENT. in 1991 with Hill, Republican President George Bush ordered the FBI to investigate. IT ONLY TOOK 3 DAYS, and the FBI was done.

WOULD TRUMP SUPPORTERS BE WILLING TO GIVE A WEEK OR TWO FOR THE FBI TO CONDUCT A FORMAL INVESTIGATION?

Why would it take a week or two if that one took 3 days. Would Trump opponents be willing to have an investigation ordered today and completed by Monday, with Ford being expected to testify at the hearing?

Of course, she wants the FBI to investigate. What assault victim wouldn't want the matter investigated?

AVANAUGH ACCUSER'S LAWYER IS VICE CHAIR OF SOROS FUNDED ORG OPPOSING KAVANAUGH
September 17, 2018 Daniel Greenfield

That partisan hit job? It's absolutely a partisan hit job.

Kavanaugh's accuser is being represented by Debra Katz, a Washington D.C. lawyer and the vice chair of the board of the Project On Government Oversight.

POGO co-signed a letter to Senator Dianne Feinstein and Senator Grassley along with a variety of lefty groups demanding Kavanaugh records. This was the obstruction tactic of choice of the left for trying to secure the Court seat before they fastened on to this latest smear.

Where does PGO gets its funding?

From, among other sources, George Soros and his Open Society Foundation tentacles.

And, to no one's surprise, she's allegedly a Dem donor.

We can put Mueller on the Kavanaugh case and he can find someone who is guilty of tax evasion from the 70s to lock up.
So because you feel Clinton got away with something you think Kavanaugh should too or is allowed to?

AND you believe that it isn't right for Mueller to pursue criminal activity that is revealed during his investigation...in other words just ignore anything illegal because it isn't the purpose of his investigation?

Interesting.

That is 100% truth. Democrats are playing games.

That, however, has absolutely nothing to do with Ford's story of sexual assault and the TRUTH about what happened at that party.

True or false?

funny how the Trump supporters are having a meltdown over a possible delay of a few days or even weeks for an investigation into this matter but were perfectly ok with the 14 month delay in confirming Merrick Garland.

Gee, because a woman is older, she does not deserve to have the chance to be heard? Some women and men carry hurts around their whole lives, because some bully or brute took advantage of them. Sometimes it's their own family.

So here we go again. Women have been taken advantage of it seems like forever, in all races and cultures. It's about time women have a say in our society.
Here's a thought. This woman needs MORE therapy and the privacy to recover. What sane woman or any person actually thinks that the actions of a 17 year old boy are relevant to these Supreme Court hearings?

This "victim" needs to learn to let go of the past and move forward. She needs to realize that ALL teens get in awkward situations over their first romantic and sexual encounters with the opposite sex. What happened to her is not a rare occurrence and in fact very typical of what happens when a single girl or woman is partying alone with a male that she doesn't know, and especially worse if there are several males. And when the alcohol comes out is a sure sign that the boy or boys are interested in having sex.

Yes, she was extremely stupid to go to that party alone, but that's how all humans learn to become mature adults with commonsense. We all made many social blunders as children, and less blunders as we get older. No one gets through life living a perfect life and making all the correct decisions.

Maybe all she wants is a public apology from her attempted rapist. However, IMO she should also publicly admit her stupidity in going to that party alone where alcohol was being consumed. Whatever happened to her that night is also HER fault.

And whoever assaulted her is not an evil person. They got drunk, the boys were horny and they mistakenly thought that Ford was also horny from the alcohol. What do boys know about romance and foreplay? Nothing. All they know is that they want sex. It's just plain biology and not men being evil.

And railroading Kavanaugh is not going to stop men from trying to sexual assault women in the future. This is not a productive witch hunt.

Strange the way all the Republicans are having a hissy fit about the possibility that she is lying, smearing someone's reputation.

Yet they are quite comfortable with constant lies smearing the reputation of Obama, Clinton, ...
