Women are very angry about how Kavanaugh treated Dr. Ford and even more angry about how the stupid, old white men in the Senate are treating Dr. Ford. McCaskill's comment today may actually garner a lot of female votes for her.
Women are not like blacks. They are not a monolithic voting block and contrary to popular leftist belief they do not all think with one mind.
How can she stand up strong when she got little evidence supporting her, evidence that an investigation can uncover. You and the rest of the GOP are already doubting your story, how will she have a fair hearing when it's going to be a 'He says, she says' situation?

Regardless of how weak the evidence is, she's gone about this in a very cowardly way - in my opinion as a woman. Others will (obviously) disagree. SHE is the one who asked for a hearing, so I dislike that SHE is now calling for an FBI investigation after she was given what she asked for. Perhaps, if she showed up at the hearing, she could convince the committee of her story - while weak on evidence, she may be credible in person.
I'm not doubting "our" story. I'm not a die-hard Republican, first of all, and I don't see that the GOP has a story other than pointing out that there's probably not going to be any way to prove her allegations. Because of that, we're down to the core principal of innocent until proven guilty. I'm not the type of woman who will throw out due process just because someone who shares my gender makes a claim. Apparently you're the type of woman who has no problem disparaging someone female because she disagrees.
During the Anita Hill debacle the GOP response helped propel Clinton into office with a record female vote
