Disaster of course for the Democrats. That's why there is constant bleating on how bad America and Americans are doing.
They are getting really desperate and you can tell when you read the message boards. I am convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt, the people are paid to go all over message board and spew liberal BS.

So some random guy carries more weight than the actual government's numbers?

Real wages have remained mostly stagnant despite an expanding economy, record stock prices, soaring corporate profits and a giant deficit-fueled stimulus from Trump's tax cuts that took effect Jan. 1. The Trump administration claimed its policies would immediately boost wages, with its tax overhaul ultimately increasing average pay by $4,000 to $9,000.

That hasn't happened. And though Trump regularly boasts of the economy's performance, many Americans don't feel they're sharing in the gains — a risk for Republicans as they seek to defend their House and Senate majorities in November elections.

Trump lies...as usual and he and his cronies will continue to screw the average American.

The reality is that the economy is booming, confidence is way, way up, and jobs are pretty plentiful now, across America.
The hard-lined leftist/never Trumpers are trying to drum up anything and everything to make people think the economy is not as good as it appears, that Trump lies, and things are much more dire than reality.

Trump's doing a damn good job, and the democrats/far left are just so angry about it, that they are beginning to lie themselves to portray Trump as a liar. It's childlike and becoming laughable.

I have no idea if they are lower or not but they're certainly not higher and for them to go higher he'd probably have to be willing to change the rules of being president (or make subtle little changes but he's not smart enough for that not even Obama could do it and Obama was smart) and he obviously likes to try but only for his benefit. He would never do that for someone else outside his sycophant circle.
And even if they were higher would that be good? You have to do more than just raise them because of inflation.

Who? Your confidence? Personally my confidence is way way down. Jobs are plentiful? Who the f cares? It's the equivalent of saying look the seats at this concert are plentiful but then you find they're sold out.

Is there a rational reason why someone doing the same job for say 25 years, should make more than his/ her starting wage, adjusted for inflation?

I mean - only if we want this country to survive in our current status as a consumer/service economy. If the middle class isn't spending money - then our country will fail.
