It used to be that we came together, ignored our differences, honored somebody who passed, comforted the family and friends, and shared our loss together. At least for one day.

Now, it's become acceptable by the news media to exclude people you don't like (even your presidential running mate) or to use the podium to bash your political opponents and expose your hateful heart.

What ever happened to respect for the dead?

What kind of low life idiots can't respect the person they came to honor and spend a few minutes of their time NOT bashing their political opponents?

I don't know - why don't you ask your fellow conservatives here who have been tripping over themselves to spit on McCain's grave before he was even buried in it?

How many political hit pieces on him have been posted up here? Much less thr disgusting personal attacks on him by Trump when he was living, and how he had to be publicly goaded into reluctantly paying the late McCain any basic respect?

Stop pretending like conservatives now care about things like "honor" and "respect for the dead.". You guys took the concept of "respect" and tossed it in the trash a long time ago - and so you get none in return.

The decedent planned his own funeral. It was what he wanted.

Lots of people came together to honor John McCain. Obama. Bush Clinton. Cheney. Gore.

But no trump. THAT is the kind of low life idiot that did not honor John McCain. Any veteran who votes for President Brainless is a hypocrite and a traitor.

Hilarious to hear cons wringing their hands pretending like "respect" is part of their vocabulary..

I agree, bureaucat. Mccain planned his own funeral according to his family. what is being done; including speakers, tone, duration, public ceremony, invited attendees, etc.; is following his mandate and reveals much about him.

Lots of Democrats and Republicans at McCain's funeral or as he would have preferred to think of it...lots of Americans.

No soup for Donald though...McCain doesn't like douche bag traitors.

The LEFT has made everything political. Everything is now an opportunity to push their agenda. Funerals, entertainment, sports, shopping, etc. EVERYTHING. The only way to escape it is to turn all forms of media OFF.
