Good Trump as the article names him did a good deed when he approved what is referred to as Air Force 2 to shuttle the body of John McCain and his family to DC.

Why don't we hear this kind of positive Trump news and instead we hear the constant trashing of him by the media heralding McCains daughter for sticking it to Trump??

Maybe she didn't like the inflight meal ?

Because the MSM is intent on doing everything in their power to make POTUS look bad. But, just like was the case in 2016, this tactic will continue to backfire against them. Even for those people who would ordinarily be put off by some of the president's behavior, they will continue to support him in the face of the vile, hypocritical attacks from the likes of the Clinton News Network.

He shouldn't have. McCain doesn't deserve respect.

His family should dedicate their lives to help the victims of his war crimes and beg for forgiveness.

How in the world does that take away from the OP? The plane had to be approved for use by POTUS, which he allowed to happen. The OP referred to Air Force 2 (a government owned plane), not POTUS' personal, privately owned aircraft.

The MSM is the same as an organized crime syndicate today. Equally harmful to the public.

Best to ignore them, as in their "cut off thy nose to spite they face", they are bankrupting their industry.

NY Daily News now employs just dozens in their newsroom.

It's very clear that the press dislikes Trump and they don't attempt to hide this. Considering how Trump sometimes responds to the press and berates them, it's understandable that they would not react in a warm and fuzzy way towards Trump.

However, they do have an ethical duty to report a more accurate picture of facts than they sometimes do, even if it means pointing out something good about someone they dislike. The point about the press only covering half of the truth is well taken because the press does have a tendency to cherry pick what gets covered and what doesn't. I've seen this happen on many other occasions, many of which have nothing to do with Trump.

Trump simply did what he was supposed to do. He wasn’t doing the McCains any favors.

So Trump still isn’t getting credit for any so-called magnanimity. He wouldn’t have wanted it to come out that he didn’t approve it.

He only grudgingly did these things and gavr lukewarm public respect after he found his silence was not playing well.

Everyone knows how he trashed McCain for having the courage to serve, and no one thinks he had any genuine respect for anyone, much less McCain.

He deserves all the scorn he gets.
