Trump won the majority of State elections and will win the same again in 2020.
We vote by state elections not nationally. He will win the electoral college / vote again.
Does not matter if 51% of the population support Trump.
What matters now is he's in office, the Senate is Republican and every week Conservative Judges are put on the courts for the next 10-30 years.
Despite the fact that Trump has had an official approval rating of 35-40% through most of his term, Trump supporters believe they are a "silent majority" and that Trump will be re-elected in a landslide in 2020. However no statistics seem to support this. Even the most pro-Trump poll we have, Rasmussen, has rarely had him with an approval rating above 50%. Trump LOST the popular vote and only is President because he got just enough votes in the right states to win the electoral college.
Trump's true popularity matters given his style of governing and the fact that he and his supporters believe they have a mandate to enact very divisive policies that typically benefit Trump's base at the expense of everyone else. In addition, on issues typically important to Trump supporters i.e. immigration, abortion, church/state relations, climate change, cannabis, gay marriage, etc, the liberal position typically out-polls the conservative one by a significant margin.
So do you believe that Trump supporters are actually a majority? Is his real approval rating higher than 50%?
Yep, you got to trust them polls. They are always right.
Trump only won the election because he was *NOT HILLARY*, not because everyone thought he was an amazing guy.
The President is just a figurehead of a much bigger movement. More important that looking so intently at the Oompa-Loompa with luxurious locks is to ask: "are the majority of Americans Individualists (right) or Collectivists (left)?
Right the cult loves to spin and deflect. We know better. The OP asked Do you believe that Trump supporters are the majority? NO
The answer is because the other opponent ( I dare not say her name or the earth will collapse with negative rhetoric from the right) received more votes, period. Is that true or false? Yes or no? Sometimes a true answer is yes or no. It doesn't require explaining it away.
So I'll ask you an simple yes or no question:
Do we elect our President by who receives more votes? True or false? Yes or no?
Apparently a simple yes or no answer DOES require explaining, since liberals still aren't able to wrap their heads around that simple answer.
The orange turd slimed into office and lost the popular vote by a record number so how can the OP ask such a nonsensical question?
Because every day in almost every thread we read about how Trump supporters are the "silent majority" and people who don't support him are living in their own bubbles and are controlled by a leftist media.
