Apparently, Texas Senator candidate "Beto" was arrested multiple times in the 90's....

Would you vote for a Senator Candidate that was Arrested for DWI, Attempted Forced Entry, and Robbery?

Or would you vote blindly for party affiliation no matter what?

Once they pay their debt off to society, they deserve the chance to run like any other person.

To hold someone to their crime for life or decades after they have paid off their debt, conflicts with one of the founding principles of the US system of justice!

For a DWI committed decades ago? No... if they admitted to it, paid their debt to society and have been clean ever since, I don't see where it has any bearing on the election now.

Would you vote for a 4 time "case of bankruptcy businessman" with a history of sexually abusing women?

I just love how the Republicans are running scared of Beto and trying desperately to smear his name. His arrest records and the facts surrounding them have been well known for years. He's never tried to hide them. This OP is deliberately trying to make the issue sound heinous when in actuality they were minor crimes. Fence jumping? Who hasn't done that as a youngster? Anyway, you can read the truth here:

A wealthy manhattan business democrat you mean? What does a manhattan billionaires "sex life" have to do with running a country . If it didn't happen during his presidency , then it dont matter. Why dont you read up on the link below and find out that practically every branch of government since the beginning of this country was founded had some sort of marital sex affairs happening dating back to Alexander Hamilton. Only difference is that Trump's accusations were claimed to happen before his campaign.

It would depend on the crime. In this case, no.

Of course not, but unless (s)he has proven to be among the bluest of "Blue Dogs", any Democrat would also be eliminated from consideration.

So you would vote for someone like Leonard Richards. A convicted murderer who is legally running for a senate seat. He hasn't completely paid 'his dept to society', since he's imprisoned for life he never will fully 'pay it', but he's got the "decades" of paying it under his belt.
