Or would you vote blindly for party affiliation no matter what?

Lame biased poll.

I'd vote for him if I lived there and he had more plans that I supported. Simple.

If someone did their time, then they shouldn't have their past hanging over their head for all eternity. This "once a criminal always a criminal" mentality contributes to the high recidivism rate.

You do know that this whole "#walkaway" movement was proven to be fake don't you?

People would vote for John Wayne Gasey if their party told them to.

Your poll ins't very good, so I can't answer.

I probably wouldn't care about the DWI. In this case, I gather Beto is a pretty good guy, so I'd have to hear the details, to make sure it wasn't unfairly slanted - as I expect your post is. For instance, what if the "forced entry" turned out to be something when he was 23, and trying to get his belongings from his ex-grilfriend's house? That wouldn't bother me.

It does bother me, though, that Cruz has been accused of running false ads lying about Beto.

You are absolutely right, the OP is unfairly slanted. Let me put your mind at rest regarding the forced entry:

Honestly, what a candidate did decades ago is mostly irrelevant unless those deeds involved hurting children or animals. I vote for the person if s/he aligns with my political priorities.

Of course. You would probably vote for Harvey Weinstein for office after he does his time, as he will be reformed when he gets out. Otherwise it would contribute to recidivism and all. The problem with most Dems is even the worst KKK members are ok if they have a "D" in front of their name
